Sabian needs to get his act together. Go get Miguel Cabriera from Florida but don't give up Cain or Lincecum. Then go get Miguel from Baltimore to play second. He wants out of Baltimore so bad he would be willing to play second for 2 years to leave Baltimore. Then spent the money and go get Andrew Jones. Then sign Scott Linbrink as you 7th or 8th inning man. Let Dan Ortimier play first, Winn in right or left,with Davis & Sherholts in the other outfield position. Trade Roberts and Durham for what you can get even if you have to eat most of their contracts.
giantman-at the moment, it is thought that the Giants are in contention, but apparently are third in a three team competion. I agree with you 100% about not giving up Lincecum or Cain in any trade. I like your idea about looking to get Tejada, but there, at what cost? Andruw Jones would be an excellent idea to play centerfield and I think he will rebound from an off season. Unfortunately, Scott Linebrink signed with the White Sox. I would like the Giants to get a player with a lot more punch than Ortmeier, perhaps someone like Tony Clark.
