Correia would be only arbitration-eligible left for SF

The Giants appeared bound for an agreement with Vinnie Chulk on an $837,500 contract for this season, avoiding salary arbitration with the right-hander.
A Giants spokesman said that a deal was close but not finalized, while The Associated Press reported that an accord had been reached.
Chulk, 29, finished 5-4 with a 3.57 ERA in 57 games last year. He was tied for the team lead in appearances when a circulatory ailment caused numbness in his right middle finger and forced him to miss the season's final month.
Chulk, who earned $396,000 last year, filed for $975,000, while the Giants countered with $725,000. Although Chulk's salary is below the midpoint of $850,000, the AP reported that he will reach that figure by receiving a $12,500 bonus if he appears in 60 games.
Right-hander Kevin Correia is the lone Giants player remaining in arbitration
