Durham's big day helps Giants to tie

Two hits, three RBIs lead offense; Hennessy works three

Angels at the plate: Torii Hunter hit his second home run of the spring, and the eighth extra-base hit. Mark Trumbo drove in two runs with a double and Gary Matthews Jr. had two hits.

Giants at the plate: Second baseman Ray Durham came through with a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Infielder Eugenio Velez had a hit and drove in two runs.

Angels on the mound: Left-hander Joe Saunders was effective in his three innings of work, giving up a run on two hits, with no walks and two strikeouts. Jose Arredondo pitched another perfect inning and has yet to allow a hit in his first five innings, a span of five appearances.

Giants on the mound: Starter Brad Hennessey gave up two runs on four hits in three innings. Reliever Bartolome Fortunato came in with the bases loaded and got out of the inning allowing one run -- on a double play.

Cactus League records: Angels 5-3-2; Giants 3-8-1

Up next: The Angels continue their homestand with a game against the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Ervin Santana (0-0, 7.71) will make his third start of the spring, while the Rangers send Kason Gabbard (0-1, 11.25) to the mound for his third start.

Left-hander Pat Misch (0-0, 2.25) makes his first start of the spring after three relief appearances in a home game against the Colorado Rockies and lefty Franklin Morales (0-0, 1.80).
